As a part of cooperation and external communication, Charles University cooperates with universities and other actors from the Czech Republic. CU initiated the establishment of the national network SDSN Czech Republic, which is part of the international Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) and focuses on mobilizing expert capacities to support sustainable development. CU has also participated in the UNILEAD project, which brought together 25 Czech universities on the path to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Another significant partnership of CU at the national level is its membership in the Association of Social Responsibility (A-CSR), the largest sustainability and ESG initiative in the Czech Republic. Charles University has been involved in the České hlavičky competition, which aims to enhance the prestige of scientific and technical professionals in the country.
The university also supports educational media and platforms focused on sustainable development, such as the Czech peer-reviewed journal Envigogika and the specialized online Czech platform EnviWiki.
