To successfully implement the strategic goals, it is necessary to define key areas for improvement and outline specific projects within the Action Plan that will support these objectives. The Action plans, spanning two-year periods — 2023–2024, 2025–2026, 2027–2028, and 2029–2030 — will detail concrete methods for monitoring and evaluation, and identify the financial resources required for effective implementation. They will also designate responsible implementers and provide regular assessments to track progress and the achievement of key indicators.
The first Action Plan, covering 2023 and 2024, focuses primarily on fostering collaboration, communication, and awareness across Charles University. It aims to lay a strong foundation for the successful realization of strategic objectives by enhancing university-wide dialogue and coordination on sustainable development (e.g. by the appointment of sustainability coordinators and the establishment of specialized working groups).
