University e-bike rental

As part of the promotion of sustainable and healthful modes of transport, Charles University has provided its employees with the opportunity to rent electric bicycles free of charge.

The bikes are available at the rectorate at Celetná Street 20 and are primarily meant for transport between university buildings. The University thus tries to motivate its employees within the framework of wellbeing and university benefits to a healthy lifestyle, which undoubtedly includes regular exercise.

To borrow, you just need an employee card and a record in the loan book at the Karolinum concierge desk at Celetná Street 20. During the rental period, the Rules for Renting Electric Bicycles apply.

Safety features such as helmets and reflective strips need to be provided by the employees themselves.

Charles University has been developing sustainability in all aspects for a long time and environmentally friendly mobility is one of the core elements of the sustainable transformation.
