Nextbike is a company that operates shared bicycles in the Czech Republic. It allows users to rent a bike through a mobile app, unlock it by scanning a QR code, and return it to a designated station after the ride. The company operates in more than 40 cities across the country and is one of the largest bike-sharing providers in the Czech Republic. Its goal is to offer residents, students, and visitors an affordable, eco-friendly, and practical way to get around the city.

It’s easy. Below the text, you’ll find a large QR code to scan (or click the link). It will redirect you to the Nextbike website, where you can choose which app store to use to download the app. Then open the app and create an account using your Charles University student or work email address. It does not matter whether your email is from a faculty, the Rectorate, or another part of the university, Nextbike already knows all of these domains, so you will receive the CZK 200 welcome bonus.
You can also link your ISIC card, PID Lítačka or Multisport card to your account and use them together with our university bonus. Thanks to that, you can ride for free even longer ... even 2 hours per day at no cost!

Students and employees of Charles University who already have a Nextbike account, using the CU email domain, remain eligible for the ride credit. To receive the credit, they simply need to contact Nextbike customer support by phone or email.
Please note that the voucher email is applied automatically only during new account registration. For existing accounts, the voucher email must be sent manually by the customer support team after the user contacts them.
